Yeah now the only thing is the system reveals how crappy the OEM speakers sound by themselves without any sub etc. I can't wait to finally upgrade everything in due time. I'm gonna go tackle this navi install in about an hour then I've got to get back to the HID retrofit I'm working on in the lighting section hehe. Don't worry pics will be up in fact I'm going to do an entire write up with does an don'ts to installing a headunit in the ES300 so look for that too
You're doing a HID retrofit on an ES? I need to get a HID kit bad but I think I'm going to get coilovers before I get HIDs.

Sorry for the late response. I've done an HID retrofit many times to the ES300 models. I've done my 99 as well

However I'm wrapping up an SC300 one and will be starting on a GS430 one later this week. I don't normally recommend HID kits because most folks end up going retro later because of the lack of comarison with the kit. However if you must, I recommend saving your ballasts when you go with the HID retro

That looks so tight. I have a 2000 Platinum Edition ES but mine just came with regular headlights. I wish mine looked that good. The only thing I've done to my headlights is change out the bulbs. I guess that will have to do untill I can get some HID's. But that retrofit is tight.

I'm still trying to post some post some pictures. I just got married so a brotha's been busy. But I'll get the pictures posted. soon.

Sounds good. I'll be on the lookout. And continue to stop by the lighting section to see what new retrofits debute weekly

Also...www.hidplanet.com/forums
is another good place to go
