Default ignition key cylinder removal

i know how it its is done but there is one catch. i dont have a key. i bought new keys and locks. so i need to get the old ignition key cylinder out. any way to do it without going to the dealer. i checked wiht local locksmith they said they cant do it. also if i do go to the dealer do i have to show ownership of the vehicle. i got the cylinder out of a junk yard. i jsut dont want to pay an *** load of money to get this fixed.

I had the EXACT same problem... what you need is a slide hammer... comes out in 2 maybe 3 seconds.
