Can I replace my powered antenna with a short non-powered one?
Can I replace my powered antenna with a short non-powered one on my 94 SC300?
I am sick and tired of breaking the mast and now the motor doesn't even suck in my new mast.
I took the whole motor out and now I have an angled oval hole that I need to find a replacement antenna to cover it. Ideally it is one of those european style short rubber antenna that I can found on ebay but my concern is the plastic MOUNT (or BASE) to the hole that might not fit. Anyone has the experience? Any pictures?
Thanks in advance.

Hello Dx3,
Can you please explain how you inserted the new non-power black one through the middle? How is the 5MM / 6MM screw mounted into the half inch hole? And the most important is how metal part of the antenna mast not grounded to the car body?
