Well i installed my new system but like everyone else it looked up because of the gap and all. So i went to ultimate audio, for you guys near orlando would know this place is really good. Well i wanted to add a tv plus my alpine deck and omnifi hard drive headunits. The guys gave me a quote for 1g!!! I was wondering if anyone knew a better place to do it or better yet a way to build it in myself. The guy wanted to do it like this:

Alpine deck
TV screen (7inch farenheit) Almost size of a double din.
Omnifi( this is only a thin face plate maybe about 2 inches)

He wanted to cut into the "shifter plate" ( i have automatic). This is only way all three would fit in.

If anyone could help me with this it would be great.

Find a monitor and put it in the stock stereo spot. Relocate your alpine deck somewhere else, that way you can keep them both. Or sell the alpine deck and buy a single din DVD player w/ screen...that's what I would do IMO. I don't like mismatching stuff.

can't really relocate the alpine deck but i can relocate the Omnifi because it is just a face plate and the actuall hardrive is uner my seat. What is a good place to relocate the Omnifi

Try relocating it under the arm rest. I've seen a lot of MKIII guys relocate climate controls there. I bet you could probably mount it to the side of the inside of the arm rest. That would relocate it and conceal it. So you're using that as you're source of video correct? And the screen is just a screen to view what's being played?
