Default Anyone running navi/ML with aftermarket amp?

just want to know how many people have this setup. i want to add addtitional amp/output to run a sub or the speakers, i'm thinking about getting a JLAudio Clean Sweep where it allows you to filter your signal and add additional amp to your stock unit. i was also told that adding that unit or Hi to Low convert will ruin your stock audio and will cause engine noise. any feedback??? Michael.

There is just tons of threads on installing a aftermarket sub or amp on the OEM headunits on here. I personally have the OEM navigation headunit and I have a line level converter hooked up to the OEM amp, then it goes to a DSP EQ then to two aftermarket amps, and then finally to Dynaudio speakers.

Noise can enter any system, you just have get some good interconnects and keep them away from your power cables.
