Guys,
I have a question. I am in the process of getting good installer to do my new system. I spoke to one installer and they told me that if I will use my stock headunit (Lexus Premium Sound, Pioneer) they will ahve to leave stock amp in it and use a converter to hook up my other 2 amps that I will use for the system. The reason fo that is that stock amp has volume control on it and needs to be in there for the new system to work. And that will not give me the best sound quility. Is that true? I do not want to change head unit, I want to have a stock look. Any one has any suggestions?
