there was a few of you guys in a few different posts that wanted to see how this and similar double din head units looked in the GS dash with the proper dash kit installation. ill just post a pic of my avn2454 in my car here instead of trying to chase down the different threads and stick the pic in each one, here it is:

Looks really good..Where is the Dvd player at?

when you hit the open button the front folds in and down, the slot for the cd, is on top, with the dvd slot just below it.

That is a very clean install. This is definately going to be my next mod. I really like the Eclipse unit. Please let me know, what brand kit did you use? It seems to be a perfect fit. I also like your XM install in the ashtray.

thanks guys. credit to burts electronics. ill get back to you on the brand of the dash kit i cant remember off the top of my head but the packaging is around somewhere in my basement, when i find it later ill list it up.

The install looks great.

Can I ask where you got that border around the head unit?(looks kinda like a frame) I have the same headunit. I got the double din kit from carson toyota. I've seen that border on a few installs but no one has answered me. Please let me know.

nice and clean man, i like it now you can stop posting in my thread about how nice yours is i wish mine had a DVD player installed in it but all i can say about the pioneer avic d1 is that it looks nice in there and works w/the factory speakers really well and sounds GREAT!!!

I believe a company called "international" makes this kit for the GS. I'm almost positive.

By far one of the best if not the best set up I have seen. Extremely clean and very nice looking. It flows very nice with the interior.

wow nice...i love those eclipse really clean setup i agree...so do u have the back up cam for it too? and did u upgrade all ur speakers or left them stock

Very very nice and the reason why i dont have eclipse is because I run an electronics store and we dont sell eclipse and the Pioneer is very very nice as well.
American International makes the kit for our cars.
