I have the same problem. There are two wires that need to be sent current to make the antenna extend, but mine still doesn't work. It worked fine with the stock stereo, also.

I was having some trouble too. I found this in the Sticky FAQ thread.

Power Antenna - Pink w/ Blue AND Pink w/ Green

Twist those together and connect them to your power antenna wire from the aftermarket deck.

Has anyone done this? Just wanted to know before trying it. I am afraid to burn something out. However, my case is a little different. I have actually replaced my stock power antenna with an aftermarket one and at this time I am still unable to locate the control wire for it. Any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I ran into the same problem when i first put on my aftermarket radio, but i figured out how to make the antenna work. Here's a link that explains it...

Pure speculation here:

In order to replace the antenna mast, there is a combination of ign-key and pressing of radio buttons. This sends a signal to the antenna motor to hyper-extend the antenna mast .. and with the lock screw removed the antenna mast pops out.

I willing to bet that is why two wires go to the antenna. What is the protocal, i don't know.

Default Power Antena

I Hooked up my Sony CDX Power Antena Wire to Pink W/ Blue & Pink W/Green
and it worked Great now I just Installed it and so far no smoke or anything no lighting up on my cluster. I put it on CD the Antena stays down I put it on Tuner it goes up I turn it off it goes down. Im just getting started if there are any setbacks i'll let you know.
