Edit: Figured it out

I'll outline the procedure so others if anyone needs it in the future, I ended up not needing the 70-1761.:

1. First remove the stock Headunit using these directions here .

2. Take the Metra 70-8112 and wire it into the wires coming out of the new headunit. You will have to cut off the 4 RCA's from the 70-8112 and splice them into the wires of the headunits. The colored wire behind the plug is pos, and the wire surrounding that is the neg.

3. Connect the 70-8112's plug into the stock plug (only one will fit), your other stock plugs will go unused.

4. Connect your antenna and the RCA's for your Sub into the new unit

5. The new HU should fit into the stock cage. Just slide it in and use the old screws that held the stock HU into the cage

6. Put everything you pulled apart in step one back together

7. Pop the trunk and pull out your amp and changer, you wont need these anymore

8. Take the two harness that were in the old amp and splice the wires as follows:
This is from plug A (input) the bigger one to plug B (output) the smaller one

Red (A) to Light Green (B) =FR+
Blue (A) to Pink (B) =FL+
Brown (A) to Red (B) =RR+
White (A) to Black (B) =RL+
Black (A) to White, Blue, Violet and Yellow = Connects all the (-) to the ground

Your speakers are now connected to the new HU Leave all the other wires alone, you won't need them.

9. You can also remove your stock sub amp in the rear deck. Run your RCA's from the deck directly to your new sub amp. If you tapped the purple wire on the stock amp for a remote turn on, use the blue/white wire on the other side of the harness instead.

10. Sell your stock components in the CL classifieds for $$$

With this procedure the power antenna won't work, I'm sure there's a way to hook it up but I'm going with a hideaway amplified fm antenna instead and shaving the stock, so no worries.

i forget which wire it is...but my power antenna works just fine with the aftermarket hu. actually...i think you just need to use the antenna wire on the metra harness. and good write-up...you explained it better than i could
