Friend of mine noticed the other day that the volume on my 00ES factory radio goes up and down slightly. So slight I had not really noticed it until he mentioned it to me. This also happens with c.d.'s anyone ever have this prioblem? If so whats the solution?

Try turning off ASL.

as they said, ASL... Automatic sound leveling. Sometimes the change in volume can be very noticeable, but rarely.

There should be a toggle button labeled ASL on the radio unit. I have one on my GS and know ASL exists on your 2000 ES. I am just not sure of the interface.

Thanks Neo. I'll check in the ES forums and see if anyone knows of the location of the ASL button.
