Default NEW info on D1 and N2 to bypass the gyro **PLEASE READ**

I got this info from an inside source....

How to bypass lockout on Pioneer Nav Systems:

MY INSTALLER ASKED ME TO TAKE THIS INFORMATION DOWN FROM THIS POSTING BECAUSE THERES ONLY A FEW INSTALLERS IN THE COUNTRY WITH THIS INFORMATION RIGHT NOW AND HE WANTS TO KEEP HIS EXCLUSIVITY FOR NOW.
IF YOU ARE GOING TO TRY TO BYPASS THE D1 OR N2 THAN SEND ME A PM AND ILL SEE IF I CAN FORWARD YOU SOME INFORMATION.

I dont know enough about these instructions other than the above. If it works and Ill post back some results but I figured Id post up what I can in the mean time so anyone else can try it out and leave some feedback.

I really hope this helps!!
GoodLuck!

Thats great and all but if that unit ever has to go back to Pioneer for warranty you are SOL. But if you are wiliing to take that risk then yes this should work. You can also just loop the dvd player back into the rear view camera input and that will work as well.

Yea, but it wont get your nav functions working! Thats what everyone is after!

And I got confirmation that it works on the D1 so far and heard nothing on the N2 yet.

Interesting information, but I'd want to hear a success story before I go removing stickers or soldering anything.

Great info if it works, keep us informed please.

D1 and N2 are the model numbers for the Pioneet Nav systems
D1 is the double DIN
N2 is the single DIN popout

Video Playback is for the DVD player, if you wanna watch a movie

I just spoke with Schnerez's installer today and he said he did it yesterday on the D1 and it works great

Here is the information from another forum. It appears a few people have done it successfully and apparently it does not void the warranty on the D1, but it does void on the N2
