Before I get flamed for not searching, I have done numerous searches such as

Removing OEM Subwoofer
Remove stock subwoofer
Replacing subwoofer
Custom sub
etc. etc.
And either got results I didn't want or got 50 pages of results

Needless to say, I couldn't find out how to remove the Stock OEM Subwoofer in a 2002 Lexus GS 300. It is the premium sound system if that matters.
I just got a box in the trunk installed and want to remove the stock sub

Just take out the backseat. Bottom cushion just pulls right out. Unbolt backrest and then start unbolting the rear shelf and you'll see that taking the factory one out is pretty cake.
