I recently purchased the Pioneer AVIC-D1 Navigation unit and a DVD player for my car and wanted to download a bunch of music videos, so I can play them in the car, so I have music and video.
Keep in mind I have never attempted somethin like this before and it was more of a project to see if I could do it.
So I have all 30 videos downloaded and then encoded them with this program called "dvdSanta" (the demo version) and all the files were put into a VIDEO_TS folder and the AUDIO_TS folder was left blank.
I then opened NeroVision Express and made chapters with 6 moving video icons per page and named them.
All in All the Video Portion came out PERFECT.
However,
The audio sounds like absolute ****. Its crackily and not worth listening to its such poor quality.
I am wondering what I can do to convert these .MPG files to a DVD and have them come out perfect in both video and audio quality.
Thanks
~Adam

Don't you have to encode the files regardless if you are making a VCD or a DVD?
I also own about 200 blank DVDs and no CD-Rs, and DVD holds about 7 times the amount of a CD-R.
That was the benefit I was trying to take advantage.
I appreciate the suggestion though, and I'll try it out if I get some blank CDs
