Default 95 SC 400 radio problems

I know, I know. This issue has been posted a million times but here goes again.

I don't want to change the look so I know I have to either get a remanunfactured switch out or buy one off of ebay.

Can I do aftermarket anything? Amp, speakers or CD player or does it all have to be nak?

Anyone do anything different?

You can definately do different. I have replaced the Nak sub with a JL Audio IB4, Rear decklid 4 inchers replaced with 6.5" MB Quart.
Currently replacing the 4" door Naks with 4" MB Quart components.

Still running whole system off stock head unit & amp and all is good!

An aftermarket amp would increase performance also, but that'll come in time. But I still look bone stock in the interior and in the trunk!

Did you have to fabricate a bigger housing for the rear deck speakers in order to run 2.5" bigger?

Yup! I opened the speaker openings some, then created a baffle to seat the 6.5's higher up.
