Audio upgrade questions, I am sure its been asked at some point previously. but...

Greetings,
Have a 93 LS400,(Pioneer system for audio) thinking of upgrading a couple of audio items.(the Repair manual does not cover any of these items.
1) where is the location of the amp for the front speakers ( is it also for the rear door speakers)
2)AT what frequency does the rear deck woofer kick in.
3) what frequency does the front tweeter and front door speaker crossover at.
4) If you place a 6.5 inch speaker in the front door, how do you mount it without cutting , making holes, etc in the stock door panel . Do you have to cut it up to make the speaker fit. Can you refer me to a picture of one that is finished . Cant figure what it will look like since its going in a hole that holds only a 4.5 inch speaker.
Thanks all.

ok, here is the answer for your last question:
you need to get the plastic enclosure with 4.5 speaker in it and put it away.
then cut a piece of mdf board that would be the same form as the enclosure. drill a hole to fit a 6.5 speakerin the middle of MDF form and fix it instead of the stock plastic enclosure. If you feel that the sound is not as good as you want it to be, make a fiberglass enclosure behind the speaker to seal it off.

P.S. I am making this exact thing to my LS400 '91
