Default EuroSports won't fit in my GS400...HELP!!

CDT ES-620 EuroSports that I had in my Accord won't fit in my GS400......about 3/4" too deep. Can anyone recommend any high end mids that will fit in the stock location? I am considering going with my Euro's and disconnecting the front windows but that is a sorry solution. There has to be a high end speaker that will fit. Has anyone else been here already that can help me out?

What is the TOTAL depth of the Euro speakers? Dyns will fit with a 1 inch spacer. Some have used 3/4 or 1/2 inch with good results.

BTW...Dyn midbass is as good as you're going to get for sound quality.

Check out the Phoenix Gold Titanium Elite comps., they're pretty shallow, they sound good, and packs a nice midbass punch.
Also you may want to check out dynaudio, focal and boston

BTW, make sure you know exactly what space you have to work with before buying anything.

I was told that I had "about 2.5 inches" to work with. I may be able to get a good deal on a pair of DLS UR6 speakers (mounting depth of 2.56") and I have someone else maybe trading the 6.5" Oz Matrix 180CS for my Euros (I am not positive about the mounting depth on these yet).

Any opinions or other advice?

Percy.....what DYN midbass are you referring to? I am not an audiophile.....just a music moron.

I know he means Dynaudio. I was wondering which model # speaker. I assume I could only fit one of the midsize 160 or 170 series.

Dynaudio MW160. Has about a 2.67 inch mounting depth. Use a spacer ring of 1/2 to 1 inch, depending on how well centered on the stock grill the installer gets it. Lots of people on the board have MW160s installed with no problem. Windows work too.
