yup, as well as the quality of the speaker. one thing I noticed in going from an MK3 supra to an SC is the difference in having the enclosure in the hatch and having it in the trunk. the trunk absorbs a little bit of the sound, but my 10 has no problems breaking through

The JL Audio W7 is probably one of the top 5 subwoofers for sound quality (car audio that is).

One of the best sounding subwoofers I have ever heard.

I heard better... but its probably the loudest sub I've ever heard

If you could ever get your hands on one of these old school subs...jump on it, your ears will thank you!
When I was installing, these were the absolute best that I've ever heard.
