1 12" or 2 10" Subwoofer
After getting my GS430 back from the bodyshop will start working on my system I was thinking and go with one 12" IDMAX D4 or two JL 10W6V2 and run it with JL 500/1. My system goal is SQ only.
Which setup do you guys think I should go with???
Or any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

You really can't lose either way with these options. Both sound great. Both do great.
Personally I'd grab the w6v2's if money isn't a concern, and the max if money is a concern and it's in stock where you want it.

2 10's will be louder
1 12 will play lower
IMO, I would run one W6 off that amp, for an SQ install, since 500 wrms isn't really sufficient to run the 2 W6's or the idmax to its full potential.
I have an idmax 12 in my garage and I'm still sticking w/ my 10's

I would recommend going with the IDMax...one of the best speakers I have used so far. great SQ and SPL.

I beg to disagree, the W7 is QUITE accurate at even lower volumes. I've had both the W6v2 and the W7(current sub) and the W7 is by far more superior in sound quality.

2 10's sound better, crisper, and louder rather than 1 12" any day of the week. The reverberation of 10s are more noticable then 12" as well. Also depending on the amp used.
