Is there really a significant difference or is it important? ALso does anyone know of a good price to get some online. I want just enough to do my trunk.
Thanks,

MIke

Use some RAAMmat that thing is as good if not better then Dynomat Xtreem. People use it for SQ IASCA finals and it looks like it does an awesome job!

Find a guy named RAAM on e-bay, I think he will have a special on his product. Its really cheap for what you get.

If you are low on cash, go to Home Depot and look in the roofing section. There are a few things that can be used instead of dynamat. Some of them have adhesive already on, others you have to use a glue such as 3M spray. I beleive its called Ice Gaurd or something of that nature. You have to buy it in a huge roll, but if I recall correctly its only 40-50 bucks and is enough to do a couple of cars. Imo it is just as good at insulating and getting rid of vibrations. Just an alternate route.

Good info, thanks. I'll be going to Home Depot to check those things out. Dynamat is OK but very expensive they don't offer enough bang for the buck. I've used Dynamat and it's acuostic foam in my floor pan and the results wasn't as impressive as I expected.

I still recommend RAAMmat...at least that stuff was tested in some extreme conditions unlike some other things mensioned above. :/
