Moving company broke my radio...???

Moving company broke my radio...???
Ok so here's the deal. I recently moved and my 93 SC400 was shipped by a moving company.
My SC was by no means in perfect condition prior to the move.
The radio already had some issues that I mentioned in a prior post (as I slowly turn the **** to increase the volume, the volume level jumps around a lot - I've been told it's a broken volume control solenoid..?)
Anyways - before the move I had turned off the radio and the antenna was down When I took delivery afterwards, the radio was still off, but the volume **** had been turned almost all the way up and the antenna was up.
When I tried to turn the radio on... nothing. Radio will not power on at all. Antenna will not retract.
SO - I'm thinking that the movers decided to blast some music, and maybe this caused some kind of short? I'm very inexperienced w/ in-car electronics so I don't know if this is even feasible.
What do you think? It it possible/likely that the movers busted it? I'm going to file a claim w/ the moving company's insurance.. but I think they might shaft me.
