I just bought a Dual amp and Sub combo with illuminite from best buy my friend and i have installed everything in my lexus sc400 with the nakamichi sound system. We got the lighting to work in the sub box and the amp works fine but i dont have any sound from my new subs. i still have the old subs in there working every other speaker woks except these new subs. why am i not hearing sound? i also bought a line out converter from circuit city it has 2 Right wire and 2 Left wire and converts into RCA. my friend said that i didnt have to use the Left wires so he connected the Right positive and negative only. is there something i can do to get the sound from my amp to the subwoofer? there is one positve and one negative audio input terminal on the sub box itself i put the speaker wire thats connected to the positive and negative bridged ports on the amp into this. Someone please help.

If I were you, I would connect the LOC to both of your rear speakers. Just to make sure you have all the bass from both signals. It may not make a difference but it sure wouldn't hurt. Then connect to your amp and make sure your gains are set properly with a DMM. Also make sure the amp is not in protected mode. I guess the last thing you can check is your wiring. Make sure you have it well grounded.
