Installed TREO's and a 1200.1-TOO MUCH!!
I hooked up a pair of TREO Eng. 10" ssi subs to a Kicker 1200.1 with 0/1 gauge last nite.It hits ok but the electrical system can't handle it.Would adding another battery(red top) eliminate this problem?I played it for 2 mins without the car on and the battery was dead.I don't even want to turn it on now being scared of being left on the side of the road.If I do stay with this, I may have to upgrade and get away from the factory unit speakers and radio since they kinda gets drowned out.Honestly though, I wish it would hit harder. What will help me with the drainage problem? Thanks

You shouldnt turn on your system without your car on reguardless, Unless if you have a yellow top optima. But even then not for too long. So if you do get an optima get the yellow top, I use the 35 group in my SC430. You also might want to consider getting a battery cap. Please dont turn on your system with the car off from now on
