Your right, I used a poor choice of words sorry about that.
I actually just ordered one this week after over a year of research and monitoring of the technology. I'll post a few more websites that i have run across while conducting my resereach

I'm looking at these guys:
http://www.guysoflidar.com/links.html
and I notice a few things:
- It takes tweeking to get the detectors aligned, looks like a LIDAR is need to correctly install it.
- I wonder if the tweeking is specific to the specific test conditions, they don't go to a different location and run the test again to see if the tweeking works under all conditions.
- The result are very inconsistant, makes me wonder if they have very good control of the experimental conditions.
- In many cases, it doesn't work.
- They aim the LIDAR right at the detector, all the cop has to do is aim the LIDAR ar your bumper to nail you.
- Looks like more than 2 detectors are need, otherwise you have to hope the cop hits your detector.

Here are a few links that I have.
You do need more than one head for good protection, but almost all of the units I have seen come with more than one head. On most average size cars two heads will protect the front of your car. Police are trained to aim at the head lights or the front plate. two head properly placed will protect that area of the car. So if they shoot at the front bumper your still gonna be covered by the two heads.

Looking on the guys of lidar site you listed I didnt see the issues you mentioned about alignement issues. It did say that proper installation was critical, but I think that is pretty obviousl
I was looking here
http://www.guysoflidar.com/shootout05/lasertests.html
where it seems that the test results were satisfactory

I'm admit my intial posts were overly critcal and there appears to be something here. I am suspious, these things cost a fortune and in your own thread on the radar buster site they say you need a veil too. IMHO $600 is a lot of money for a product with such a dubious lineage. Perhaps all those years of Rocky Mountain ads in MT have jaded me.
Good luck, let us know how it works out.

Yea for 600 it would still be at the factory I got it for 349 which was less than my valentine 1 if I remember correctly. On top of that the stupid ticket I just got is gonna be more than 349. the guy that said I needed the Veil was just one person, all the reveiws that we discussed were without the Veil coating, so contrary to whta that one guy said I think I will be okay without it.
Have a good night.

The Scorpion Ka radar jammer is the only active radar jammer that jams X, K, and Ka band before that there was the Phantom RCD or the Scorpion XP and those jammed X and K band.
Laser jammers do work and the Blinder M20 and M40 were the best unit in 2005 but now there is some new competition from overseas.
Check this link and click on the video (it will take a while to load) of this laser jammer jamming laser all the way to the gun, the only downside is that it will set you back over $500.
