Default Aftermarket alarm in your ride?

Well as the weather gets warmer, so does the attracion of thieves and vandals to screw up your ride. Who is running aftermarket alarms with remote start and pager? Viper, Clifford folks where you at? Why did you decide to go aftermarket? lol

I got the viper w/remote start on the SC. And I got hornet remote start on my rodeo. DEI is the way to go. $500 installed sounds about right lol. I know someone that can do it for less but he's in washington state he will be back april I think.

I believe it is more expensive for the gs because of additional relays in each door. Do you SC guys have transponder keys like us GS guys? A spare key is needed for the install to put in the brain of the viper/clifford systems

Well I decided to go with an aftermarket alarm after this incident: Please read for more info At first I was going to go with the viper zx791 or the clifford but the guys at Street Dreamz voluch for the AutoPage alarms and thats what I have now. Its got auto-start, pager, glass, door, hood, trunk sensors, window and temp. control, ect. and I love it. It was $550 with install but defintely worth it.

I doubt it is that model. There is no where on planet earth you can get that particular system installed on a GS for that price unless they are scotch taping it in.
