Default My Nakamichi stereo just DIED.. Question

OK Kids. I have a 1998 ES300 with the Nakamichi stereo and 6 cd player. It started yesterday, my subwoofer stopped working, and then when I turned off the stereo and then turned it back on it worked, but it made a loud "bang, pop" sound.
Well today it started doing the same thing, except all of a sudden the whole unit just died. Nothing works at all, I cant eject the CD's or anything. I smelled some burning wires too (I think under my dash).

So I looked under the hood, and my Fuse was blown. I tried to replace the fuse 2 times, and it kept on blowing on me.
So my questions are: If the head unit is bad, do you think that’s why the fuse keeps blowing when I try to replace it (maybe a fair safe kind of thing?) Or do you think that the stock AMP went out?

Anyone have any ideas? Did I fry the unit, or is the fuse a dud or what? And now, how do I get my CD's out of the changer??

If you smelled some burnt wires, why did you try replacing the fuse? THe fuse is blowing because you Most likely have a short in your wires which melted them.. Its preventing your car from catching on fire. I suggest you remove your stereo and locate your problem.

Just find the source of the burning smell. Remove your headunit and that a big wiff of it. Trace the wires to see if you can find the short. If it's the wires, replace it or patch it up.

Well I dont think its the Wires. I think its the AMP. When I plug in the two plugs (the ones on the left) the fuse doesnt blow. But the minute I plug in the plug on the far right (the one seperated), my fuse blows. The wires look fine, I think the AMP is the problem.

What do you think?
