Default Eclipse PA-5532 5channel amp freq adjustment

with the amp i have now (eclipse pa-5532 5channel amp) that is powering my front components and rear fills, I have options on setting the front/rear channels to be high-pass (with a adjustable frequency) or be the "through" setting. The stereo shop that i went to had put my front channels on "through" frequency setting and my rear channels on "high-pass" at 150hz. This currenty setting makes my highs much more noticeable and crisp than my old setting of "high-pass" at 120hz for both of my front and rear. The stereo guy said something about the issue of soundwave cancellation if i have my front and rear set at the same freq.
My concern here is whether or not this "through" frequency setting will eventually damage the front speakers (Diamond audio m6 6.5") in the long run since they are playing all the lower frequencies as well? what other settings do you recommend when tuning this thing so that the front and rear won't cause any cancellations? thanks for the help.
