Default What type of Antenna input on GS

OK, I am going to put one of those FM modulator things in for my Sirius radio. I live in the Dallas area and there are so many stations I cannot keep the signal locked in using the Siruis modulator. I have read that some antenna's are not standard and would require an adaptor. Does anyone know if the the GS is a standard antenna input/output? Also, does anyone know if I can access the back of the radio through the glove box, after removing it of course. I have ML w/ navigation if that makes a difference.

why not just take out your radio, and see for yourself?

Well, my question was multi-part. I need to know how to access the back of the radio and if that can be done through the glove box or do I have to take the whole navigation screen out. I really don't want to start taking apart the whole car if I someone can confirm the best/easiest way to access the antenna. I don't have a lot of spare time to start ripping things out and then finding out that I wasted my time.

It is not time-consuming nor difficult to take any radio out. You pull out the A/C vent assembly above, and the ashtray thingy. This gives you access to the mounting bolts for the radio or nav unit. Unscrew, pull out radio.
I can't remember whether you can get to the antenna from the side, via the glove compartment removal. I think not.

Thanks, that is what I wanted to hear. I wanted to make sure it was not some big production of popping/prying things off. I will give it a shot. Doesn't sound too bad. Thanks.

Here are some instructions: http://carstereohelp.com/stereoremovalLexusGS400str.htm

The process looks similar but a little easier than for my 00 LS. I suggest that you release the gear shift lever via the hidden button above the "P" indicator on the console and pull the lever all the way back to make more room.
