SC400 monitor and DVD player low volume...help
i just bought a in dash LCD monitor that hooks up to a DVD player which is also in the dash. i had it installed and went home and i turned the volume all the way up but my volume **** doesnt work. because the guy "bypassed my factory amp" and now i cant use my CD changer or AMP so how can i get the volume to go higher. is there a wire just for the volume ****? i dont really want to drive all the way out there. its just a flip monitor and an in dash DVD player that has 3 RCA jacks in the back i want to use my volume **** or find out how i can make the volume louder. PLEASE HELP ME. Thank you

no he just took out my factory head unit and bypassed the factory amp so now the sound only comes out of my main speakers and not my sub. and my CD player doesnt work anymore because of the head unit. the DVD player is not a radio, its just a DVD player with a monitor. he bypassed my factory AMP so now i only get sound from my main speakers, but it is low. the DVD player takes RCA inputs for the audio and video. so what do i do?

if he took the head unit out... I think you now need a reciever.....if your DVD player is just that.. there is nothing to create sound. Does your monitor have AM/FM capabilities?

I don't know....if you hooked a dvd player(home) to a computer screeen....You can't expect for it to have sound. You need a radio and hook the DVD player to an auxilary jack....my sugestion find a cheap deck that has aux outlets.. and hook the dvd player to it...and Voila
