Default Removal Of Nakamichi 12 Disc Changer

Hi Does Anyone Know How I Can Remove The 12 Disc Changer From My 92 Sc400 So It Can Be Replaced?

My friend, it is really easy, just 3 (if i remember right) 10mm bolts, or is it 2 bolts and 1 nut?
Anyway, not a problem, just dive right in!

Just take off the interior piece, there's a few little push in clips holding it. Then you should be able to see the entire metal bracket holding the CD changer and the factory amp. It is held on by three bolts attaching it to the trunk floor and two nuts kinda on the sides. All are 10mm, a small ratchet works great. Unplug the amp and CD player and thats it. Removing the changer from the bracket is pretty self explanatory.

Here is a picture. Did you get the black plastic cover off from the trunk side? There are little 'plugs' which hold it on, those need to pull out - watch your nails. Don't be afraid to pull hard.

The connectors to the CD player are hard to pull out, unbolt it first and then you can see what your doing. Push in the center tabs on the connectors while pulling out.
