oh ok.. ididn't know that you spoke with them... well trade your radio for a 2000 ...or sell it and get a 2000

 

well considering i just replaced my stereo with a new 99 one and i still am sitting on the old one that really isnt an option

i knew i should have just went aftermarket from the get go

 

be patient..i may have a 2000 for you....

i'm waiting on the insurance co... so i may be parting my car out...

I'd be interested in a good solution to this Ipod integration issue. I have a 99 GS with the Nakamichi HU

FYI the soundgate unit has a 7 pin width connector and wouldnt connect to my 99 radio, how it would work with a 2000 radio i do not know as i think the 2000's are also only 6 pins wide as is my 99 pioneer stock

they are taking it back though, i just have to pay shipping, worth the couple bucks IMO to see if it would work

 

So the soundgate doesn't work??? any other solutions ideas?

 

If it had 7 pins... was it a matter of changing the connector and the unit would comunicate with the nakamichi system? If it knows the protocol and/or language.. then... it should be a matter of tapping into the wires only.. the main problem is the Nak Language between units.
