well i just got a system installed in my car, a kicker L7 SUB with a power accoustic amp which is rated at 750 watts bridged. the problem is that when i raise the volume the sub seems to get lower. i have the pioneer avic-d1 head unit and i played around with all the settings. what can be wrong with the system? does square subs just suck and should i just get 2 kicker compvr subs instead?

ok you raise the volume and the sub gets lower? DO you mean that you cant really feel the sub and your mids and high are getting louder or do you mean the bass is just getting worse which doesnt make alota sense.
Have you tried turning up the gain on your amp for the sub?
