I like the clean look of the factory radio unit but would like to upgrade the speakers. Does anyone have this setup?
I will be adding amps and would like to know the wiring of how this will be done. Does anyone have the wiring diagram of the factory amp so I can tap into it in order to run RCAs?
TIA!

You'll want to get yourself a Line Out Convertor.

There is nothing wrong with using the stock deck with aftermarket amp/speaker. Many people have done that and I too would do the same since I love the stock look. I just dont like having a CD changer. I prefer to put my CD into the receiver

What car? And what amp?
You probably do not need an LOC, save the money and the potential for noise.
If you have a system like in the SC's using the pioneer 280w system or the Nakamichi, the HU puts out a line level signal for FR, FL, RR, RL and Sub.
Tap this signal using RCA's, and run that to your new amp.

click on Nak Hack and you should find your answers. If you go the bottom of the nak hack page, click on the link for OEM schematics.

How much are you willing to spend on your sound system, because if you have a pretty high budget, then try looking into Reus Audio. They utilize your factory stereo, but replace the speakers and add in some amps and subs of their own. They sound great and very musical, not boomy like most systems out there. Well worth taking a look at them. They are very high end and sound phenominal, and the best part is that its very stealth and everything looks stock.

I figured it'll be easier if I tap the line out from the amp since everything is staying in the trunk. This will save me the hassle of running RCA's from the HU to the amp since the amps will be in the trunk. I even plan to leave my graphic EQ in the trunk too.
As for the things I need, I already have all the components from my last car. I have a Rockford 500a2 and a 400a4 amplifier. I will install my two sets of MB Quart components into the existing speakers. The LOC will go through my graphic EQ then to my Infinity digital crossover, then to the amps. The 400a4 will power the MBQ components and the 500a2 will power two 12' Alpine Type R's.
I want when looking inside my car you won't be able to tell I have a sound system since the entire setup will be in the trunk.

You need to make your own RCA's. Just use the wires before the amp, instead of after. This way you can remove (if you want) the OEM amp. They are all in the trunk.
Use the signal ground for the outer casing, the signal for the 'plug'. Super easy.
Just use a good silver content solder and splice the connections well. I did this for my 92 SC, left the HU and the CD changer, pulled the amp and replaced with 2 Xtant's.
If you have a schematic for that stereo (it may be different than the ones I have for the SC posted) I can give you a play by play diagram.
