Headrest Monitors
Is there a way to hook up headrest monitors using the stock nav/ML in the IS 350? If so how and what size would be recomended? Is there a video out? I am scheduled for the 1st of April for a Nav hack and aftermarket sub install on my 350 and I really want the headrest monitors, I assume that there has to be a specific wire/wires behind the nav that sends the video from the stock DVD player and would most likely have to be tapped into for the monitors(I am hoping there is a video out so it would be simple but I doubt it) If wire tapping has to take place does anyone know which wires and how to accomplish this? Also any suggestions on sub size? The shop said it is no problem to add a sub to the ML,is this true? Should I up grade the speakers also? I have no problems with how the ML sounds except for the weak bass but the shop said I should do new speakers because stocks are crap. I don't think there are of bad quality or why would Lexus charge so much for them. Any help to this/these questions would be greatly appriciated.

if you are talking about using the stock nav as a dvd player to power headrest monitors, then doesn't the stock nav have a speed sensor and won't let you use it if you are going a certain speed limit? anyways take a look here http://www.lextasy.com/nav_converter_1160_prd1.htm this should point you in a good direction.
