Just installed a JL 1000/1 and a JL 12W7 in my GS300
I just finished installing my system in the GS300. I don't have any pictures but I can give some words of advice for someone doing the same.
I did this on a 98 GS300 with the Pioneer soundsystem and stock headunit and pretty much everything else is stock
Running power wire - I ran the power wire through the firewall on the passenger side. I ran it through the same grommet that the little white plastic tube goes through. I think it is the tube that drips out the water from the air conditioning system. After I got it through that I ran the wire parallel to the doors under the carpet. The panels are very easy to unclip - just shove the wire in there reallll good. I did this with 4 gauge JL wire
Running Remote-On Line - I ran the remote power on lead to the cig ligther. There are probably easier ways of doing this - but it was the best thing I could think of at the time
Signal for the RCA - I removed the stock sub in the rear deck - After cutting the wires going to the stock sub I bought a Line Out Put convertor (one by Pherphilla (sp?)). I just put the right negative and left negative to one wire and right positive and left positive to the other wire.
Ground - The little bolts that hold those silver things down in the trunk is what I used to ground. Remove the silver thingy and add some washers so its a tight fit.
If you have any questions you can PM me or IM me - thelowestbidder
I hope this helps you guys because when I was doing it I couldn't find anyone to help me.
Thanks -

I have basically the same set up right now in my GS, and the bass is killing my speakers, i have to keep the amp level of the sub at less then half power.
As a solution I'm finally changing out the rest of the speakers and the headunit.
