I'm looking at getting the alarm that comes with the lcd remotes to alert you when the alarm is set off. I will be Los Angeles tomorrow in the city of commerce. Can any of you la guys recommend a shop that has did GS 300's before? Where i live up here in central calif the stereo shops tell me that the factory alarm has to be taken out to install the aftermaket one. I've read numerous post on here where your able to keep your factory unit and the aftermarket working together. I think these shops up here haven't got that much experience with the GS. If you can recommend a shop i would appreciate it.

don't know if you're still interested but i had my alarm installed at luxurymotorworks, but i know that the guys at sightwaves in eagle rock owned and tricked out their gs with a similar set up.
