Default For those who upgraded speakers only in an SC400/SC300

When upgrading only the speakers in the nakamichi system, what do you have to do about crossovers?

Thanks.

All i did was pull the old Nak speakers out, 3/4 were dead......and put in MB Quart Discus' in. Many people say the discus' are lower quality, but to me it sounds good. I think the sub is the next to come out. But thats all i did...Good Luck

Including the Tweets?

kietlander, I will eventually replace everything. I am very adept at aftermarket high end equipment. Just looking for a quick fix now instead of putting in thousands of $$ of gear.

Thanks.

there has to be some sort of crossover somewhere if the speakers are just replaced including the tweets. This is what i am after. I don't want to put in a very good tweets that i currently have to have them ruined. That is all.

Thanks again.

Having 2 speakers of the different brands playing the same frequencies usually is a very bad bad idea! I am glad you like your results though!

I wish someone knew if there was some sort of in board crossover on the amp or head unit though....... help!
