Default in- dash dvd player problem

Hey guys i have a Pioneer AVH-P7600DVD dvd player and ive been haveing some problems lately and have no clue what it is. Lately when i turn my dvd player volume up it causes a hick-up in the sound every couple of minutes and its becomeing very annoying. I think it might be the internal amp causing this b/c it only happens at high volumes (around 20 level) i think it might be overheating maybe going into protection mode. also along with this my left two door speakers(front and rear) are alot lower volumes than the right speakers. I have no clue what to do, i bought this unit on ebay brand new and its outside the return/swap date by a little under a month (ive only had it for under two months). ive checked all the balancing settings and induvidual db to each speaker. i have hi-end infinity kappa perfect speakers running off this unit, could it be b/c the speakers require so much more pwr.

any input would be awesome guys!!!
