Default Bought a sub.. now what? noob help needed

i got a pioneer ts-251r 10" sub off ebay new. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn...585071,00.html . i'm going to be building a sealed enclosure for it in my physics class as a project. i'm adding this sub to my stock pioneer system in a 93' es 300. i have some questions regarding this. i don't know how i'm going to mount my sub in the trunk. i have heard that since subs are omnidirectional it doesn't matter the way they aim in the trunk however i saw this and thought it would be a good idea to have the sub like this: http://www.kalani.net/Car/index.html with the sub coming through the trunk pass. is this a good idea? would it be hard to mount it like that? if i don't mount it like that how else would i have it - just bolted down in my trunk someway? would it be loud enough like that - i could drill holes in my rear deck metal to allow more sound to come into the cabin?

then next. an amp to go with this sub... i've done some reading and think i should bridge it with a two-channel amp. however i don't know anything about a quad-voice coil which is what is on my sub. all i can tell is that the amp i get should have about the same rms wattage ratings as my subs output rms wattage which is 120 rms. looking at an amp here to get an idea about ratings: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn...522415,00.html does this mean that 60 x 2 = 120? like it says in the description. i'm not really sure how to look at an amp and tell if it would do well with my sub. is it bad to have an amp much below the subs rms output or above? and if so how much above and below are we talking?

thanks for all the help yall can provide me with since i'm quite the noob at this stuff.

Id completely leave it in the trunk. Some might like the port idea into the cabin though, not many.
If your runnin 1 sub, get something 250 rms Amp. Subs handles 600 peak so try to keep it close.
