Playing DVD's in a 01 430
Is it possible to somehow play dvd's through the Navigation system in an 01 430?. I've talked to 2 local installers who said no, but their exposure to the system was nill.
Any help would be appreciated.

The dealers sales guide for the LS430 says it will play DVD video discs when the car is parked. I looked at the DVD player in the trunk and couldn't find a way to eject or pop-up the DVD tray to remove the navigation disc and slap in a DVD. The dealer didn't know either .. surprising.
As many of you know, I've been working with Honda and Acura owners putting video on their factory navigation displays using Pioneer Electronics parts. I have still to help a Lexus owner do it for their navigation display, but I do have Lexus electrical wiring diagram (EWD) and it looks highly possible.
