Default Check It Out: IPOD Belkin TuneBase *PICS*

Hey guys. I used to have a cassette adapter thing so I could listen to my Ipod but for some reason it's been rejecting the cassette so I threw that out the window and bought this.

The sound is great... no static or anything like that and it's also a great cradle for my Ipod. I highly recommend it. All I have is a camera phone, sorry for the bad pics.

Here are some pics:

very interesting! I just got an ipod and i'm looking for cradles/chargers for the SC. I have an aftermarket headunit but i just found out the aux outs are burned out. this looks like it'll solve three problems in one solution.

What did you think of the sound quality? Usually the FM transmitters I have tried sound horrible compared to the tape player version I have now.

yea i'm curious too. i was just surfing at ipodlounge.com, which seems to be a pretty comprehensive all-round ipod site. I think they gave it a B+, which is lower than the kensington and the itrip models, but both those models lack the cradle like feature i like so much.

On top of that, my power antenna's dead, so i don't know if the aftermarket head unit has some sort of internal antenna that'll get me decent signal.

From my personal experience all FM tuned modulators suck! and the cassette adaptors were the only things that worked well. If you live in a big city its gonna suck. But from what i've heard, if you live in the boonies then you will have alot more luck then me and actually get some good quality sounds.

Default iPod FM Transmitter

I tried out an iTrip FM modulator with my iPod Nano and it was okay in town, but terrible on the freeway, so I returned it. Considering the Vaistech iPod solution now.

Yeah. My antenna doesn't work at the moment so I'm so this option is not looking too hot for me now. I've been trying to search ipod forums to find an easy and relative affordable way to do this, but i think it'll involve some DIY wiring.

This is what I found.

Looks good, but still little too big for me (bulky).

I use this, fits in the console and tucks away.
