Feedback on ID8 sub and Kicker amp combo
Hey guys I'de like some feedback before i purchase this sub/amp combination. Being on a small budget, I just want the most power I can get. Does anyone have experience with an Image Dynamics ID8v.3? This sub shoud just basically drop into the stock location right? Should I go with the 2 ohm or 4 ohm version?
For the amp, I was thinking of getting the Kicker ZX400.1. Running at 4 ohm, this amp pumps out 200 watts RMS. If it runs on 2 ohms, do you think 400 watts RMS will be too much for the sub?
I'm also looking at the Infinity Reference 311a amp because I can also get a discount on this amp. Should I stay away from Infinity amps?
