Hey, I"ve been lookin around a little at my next mod which will be an indash CD/DVD player. Ive seen some online (ebay and retail) that claim to have a dvd/cd player. My question is this... Has anyone bought one of the off-brand dvd players? what were your experiences with it?

all i'm really looking for is a "double DIN" deck (one that the screen never folds away, always flush with the dash) and plays cd's and DVD while moving, not only in park.... any suggestion? my budget is just under 1000 installed. thanks again guys.

if you want decent low budget double din deck go with Alpine IVA-W200 or Panasonic or Gryphon Mobile or Kenwood. You can get all of those for around or under a grand or so.
