Thinking of upgrading sub in 01 GS300 for higher SQ
#61
woot got the install done at a high quality shop
costed about $154 CAD after tax for the labour and grill
quality work
boy, this A/D/S is really underrated, its louder than i expected
good thing the gain and EQ pots on the amp lets me get it to a level that i can handle
sounds pretty good now
ill be upgrading the door speakers to Hertz EV165 or something in a year or so
thank you very very much for all the help you guys have given me
much appreciated

Now the old amp and sub questions - I thought about picking this up...
Rockford-Fosgate-PBR300X1-compact-Amplifier - and putting it where the old disc changer was. I don't need window shaking bass....just the lows. I was thinking I would try and just hook up the stock sub wires to the new amp and try that first. Otherwise I would have to by a new sub and box and run new wires to the back. Thoughts? Also if my new deck has a subwoofer control do I need an LLC?
