Not quite the monster the US400 is, there is another real classic on ebay also.... an art 606.2!
WHAT IS A AX606.2?..The baddest amp ppi ever made. aside from that, the ax606.2 was a one year only amp that housed an A404.2, Proart 50 and FRX-456 4/5/6 path active crossover all in one 24" chassis (same size as proart 100 and a1200.2). This is an amazing combo with extreme flexibility. You can use this amp to power your WHOLE system, front & rear components as well as subs. Or if you're nuts like me and need more power, you can use all 6 channels for your speakers and use the amps crossover output feature to control ANY other ppi art series amp! The crossover output option allows you to either use a lowpass setting for powering subs with another amp, or you can use the bandpass setting (high pass and low pass) to control another amp for speakers! Note that no other ppi art series amp came with a crossover built in, except for the Ax400 which had a very basic simple crossover that doesnt come close to comparing to the FRX-456.

pretty cool.
we've got some OLD SCHOOL Rockford Fosgate 1000 watt amps (basically a 10001BD) layin around the shop. They're the owner's and used to be in a show truck that he had. I'll post up some pics if I can find them again

try 1500 true RMS @ 12 volts.
a 300 amp alternator, 4 farad caps, and 14 volts in = 2100 watts true RMS with 4000 watt peaks.
