Any body know any good installers in the Seattle area to install the iPOD interface from Vaistech? I asked the Lexus dealer and they won't do it, and I want to have it done by someone who will put the dash back together without damaging anything or leaving any rattles.

I had the same problem as you did... Cartoys said that they could try and install it but made no guarantees. I e-mailed eugene at Vaistech and he gave me the name of the guy who installs units in Portland, OR. He charges $125 and apparently is they guy that Lexus of Portland uses to do all of their AV work. His phone number is 503-784-6449 and his name is Tom. You might want to give him a call.

You might want to try a Magnolia Audio Video, they do a lot of higher end stuff. that's where i get all my stuff done at.

did a great job hiding all the wire, wish the carpet would match a little better, but that's not the installers fault.

Magnolia HiFi in Everett, WA installed my VaisTech SLX XM adapter in our new Lexus RX400h. They did a great job. Steve, the senior installation tech, was very impressed with the ViasTech adapter.

Thanks that's great info. as I live in Edmonds. Time to order the SLI I think.

Some questions:

1) Where did they put the SLI unit, and where does the iPod dock (Glovebox, center console box, etc.)

2) Has it got rid of the need to hit the 'I Agree' button on the screen on each startup?

1. They put mine on the head unit (up front behind the center console) and ran the dock into the glove compartment. In case you are wondering they used the "CD changer/MP3 emulation". Tell your installer, they will know what to do.
