amp stoped working..........help.....

amp stoped working..........help.....
ok i was listening to my system about half way up(not ppushing it hard or anything)and i heard several low booms that wernt in the song and then it just stoped(i have and audiobahn amp with two fans...the amp was not hot at all........its a mono and its push for tens)ok here is were it gets weird.ALL THE CONNECTIONS ARE GOOD AND STRONG.AND THE AMP POWER LIGHT IS STILL ON BUT NO SOUND COMMING FROM THE AMP.can some one tell me whats going on plz...i really dont have money for a new amp right know....what would have caused this???

do a test and disconnect the RCAs from the amp.
hook up an ipod with a headphone jack on one end and RCAs on the other. run the system and see if you have sound. if you have sound, it's your RCAs and possibly the signal from your deck.
if no sound... ummmm- i dunno buddy. you already said the amp is on so that rules out a blown fuse or a bad power connection.
