Default Bad Ground = Bad Reception?

I have a Pioneer DVH6500...indash dvd w/ flip up screen. Past few weeks I've noticed that my normal radio stations have weaker signal and are getting fuzzy in areas that they were fine before...my Ipods FM transmitter is also sounding fuzzy.

I checked the wires for antenna and they all seem in tact, however the ground wire seems kind of iffy liek it could be loose, coudl that be the cause of the problem? Radio works fine with CD/DVDs, it is just the radio reception went from good to horrible out of no where.

Yes, loose/bad ground can cause a number of problems. Make sure it's ROCK solid for optimum performance.
