Hello:
I've been checking the threads for this, and there was a post similar about a year ago, but I thing some new tech has come out so I am placing another post. I already posted to GS 2nd gen but this forum seems more appropriate.
Basically, I would like to install an Ipod interface in the aux/cd input in my factory Nakamichi system in my 99 GS4. I know VAIS has a system, but that's for 2001 and newer models. I really don't want to use FM modulator or Tape player.
I think Denison http://www.dension.com/icelinkplus.php has a system. Has anybody used it? They are a Hungarian company with no US distributor, so I'm a little skeptical.
If there are no systems out there that currently work, I am thinking about getting a head unit from a 2001+ Lexus, and then going with VAIS. Can somebody verify whether my wiring harnesses would connect with a 2001+ head unit (and work together with VAIS system)?
Thanks,
Bill B

Hello- I found a system that works with the above arrangement, made by Soundgate (model SDSTOYO):
http://www.soundgate.com/index.php?r...productid=468&
It works and sounds great- the only thing is that you have to have a CD (inaudibly) playing if you want to listen to the Ipod.
Good luck,
Bill B
