Just wondering if anyone has had this problem? Every time i turn on the radio, my antenna makes the annoying noise, it sounds like dying goat, like the antenna is struggling to get out of the inlet. Anyone have a remedy to this, my girlfriends' Altima does this as well. Any info would help, Thanks!!

Probably need to replace the antenna mast because the gears are broken or stripped. Search ''antenna mast'' you should be able to find out where to buy it and how to replace it.

Yeah, I agree. Mine sounded pretty bad, then it finally broke. I just replaced it last night and sprayed it with some sillicon. It's ALOT better now. If I had changed it before it broke, I wouldn't of had to take it apart to take out the plastic thing with gears on it. Good luck. The mast will probally run between 50-80 bucks depending on where you go.
