Default Subwoofer box for a GS - dimensions of back shelf?

My car is at the shop- anyone know the dimensions of that back shelf in the second gen GS?

I want to build a box for it.

Thanks.

what back shelf r u talking about? if ur talking about the bump in the trunk , it measures about 14-15 inches in depth , and for height on my box i used 15 inches , but u will need to remove ur center seatbelt , in order to clear. the width is 30-31 inches. hope this helps.

Unless you're me, and you can play tricks to suspend a 12" woofer in a 1.5 cu ft box and not remove the seatbelt. Hee Hee Hee.

So how did this turn out?

Incidently, the box I am working on is 13-1/4 x 31-1/4" on the bottom. It measures 13-1/4" tall and totals 2.5cu.ft. Yes. It's much deeper at the top. And doesn't require removal of anything but the old sub.

I might have pictures later this afternoon.

box ended up being too big for my subs - i'm probably going to go back to my original sub box that I had which is too small.

maybe i'll buy that 13w7 out there in so cal while I'm for EOS.

Paul - you coming?

Probably not. My little brother's birthday is that weekend. And another friend is being redeployed, so her going away party is that Friday. But stranger things have happened....
